Monday in Holy Week

Lord Jesus, let us not recoil before the weight of your love; to follow the foxes to their dens, the birds of the air to their nests. Let us not seek the warm of their quiet nights and the softness of their pillows on which to rest our heads. We are not worthy to hear your heart beating through the life of the world. Give us only, wrapped in your love, the rugged angles of your cross.
