Tuesday in Holy Week

O God, you know our weakness: have mercy on us and on all Christian people when we are tempted to cast away our confidence in Christ. When the high and mighty are against him and when the crowd cries for his blood, help us to cling to his cross and behold his face. And as you saved and delivered the first disciples, so, by the power of the resurrection, save and deliver us too, we pray through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
